Create a new node with field contents from existing node automatically.

Hi,

There's something I really want to achieve but can't get my head around actually getting to work! Basically I have a content type that is created by users called "Theatre". In this content type there is a field using the media module to allow users to upload an image. When the node is created I want to automatically create a new node of a different content type called "Stage". This new node needs to fill the media field with the same image and then create the node with the same author details for both created nodes.

Is this possible with rules and could anyone point me in the right direction with what I should be doing?
