Drupal.org Cracks 200,000 Users
Rowanw - November 1, 2007 - 04:10
It wasn't long ago that drupal.org hit 100,000 users, just 10 months later the user-base has doubled! According to my calculations there's currently an average of roughly 300-400 people registering each day.
drupal.org/user/200277
- drupal.org/user/199850
= 427 in 24 hoursCongrats to egonkab from Germany for being the lucky 200,000th member.

Camping around to make user 1000000
Maybe we should all camp around and try to make user #1000000. It might even be worth trying to write a script to check for the existence of the 999999 user every 10 seconds (or whatever) and as soon as it exists, trying to make user #1000000.
What's the average user post count?

It's really impressive and promising:
In less than a year, number of drupal.org users is doubled!
