when you installed drupal what profile did you select? standard or minimal. If minimal, it doesn't install any default content types. If standard and you are missing the content types, try node/add/CONTENT-TYPE if the content type is there, try flushing your cache in the database.

How come when (Structure->Add
How come when (Structure->Add content), I only see "Create Webform". I cannot create a basic page or an article?

Same problem with me, In D7 after installing webform, "add a Basic page" disappears from "add content" menu..
