It is/was at 5.1 and i wanted to go to 5.2 and then on to 5.3

I got some errors when trying to run the update.php that I hadn't seen before:

But when I go to available updates, it 'says' it is at 5.2 but I know it isn't (due to the errors) and when I go to the status report, it does say that the database is out of date and I should run the update.php:

I try to run it again and I get the same errors.

I am having the same problem. The site seems to be running fine, but I don't know what to do about the error. Any suggestions would be great!

HELP HELP HELP!!!

This is still a problem and without fixing this, I'll never be able to do any more Drupal updates....which really bothers me.

I can't run update.php without getting errors....what can I do?

THANK YOU!!! This worked. I am glad it was an easy fix. I was using Mac FireFox.

Now that took a couple months to fix/do the upgrade to 5.3...and now there are two more to tackle!!

MANY thanks.

The blank page (a.k.a. WSOD) indicates some fatal PHP error. See here http://drupal.org/node/158043 for troubleshooting info.

Please post back how that works out for you.

Looks like #10 solution may have solved the issue. No activity for more than a year so I'm closing this thread.
