After I've got it to work (see previous bug report) by enabling clean URLs, I wanted to upload a simple file and selected one and pressed upload. The file was uploaded into the Drupal upload directory (saw that on the server) and then the DBFM reports
Could not insert C:\temp\php\upload\tmp921C.tmp into the database
The database reported - The file given above did exist while it was uploaded and disappeared just as the message appeared in the browser. That's all, nothing else happens and no file is anywhere afterwards.

rooey commentedWe've done no testing on windows.
What versions of drupal/mysql/apache etc are you running on?
The current upload form is known to be shifty. A new one is expected in the next few days.
rooey commentedHello,
Please try the new release of DBFM - it should fix this issue (a completly re-written upload interface).
You will also need the DBFM Greybox module - http://drupal.org/project/dbfmgreybox

jurgenhaasThanks for the update. I get a better greybox now and I can enter attributes while uploading a file. However, the file still doesn't go into the database on my windows server.
rooey commentedWhen you exit DBFM (and load another drupal page) you will be given an error - can you please let us know what this error is?
jurgenhaasWhere should that error be shown? I can't find any. I just uploaded another file, closed the greybox and looked into debug: nothing.
Then I went to another page on the same site, nothing.
Looking into watchdog: nothing.
Went back to DBFM, again nothing.
What other place could I look for an error?
rooey commentedHit the green reload button. It probably just didn't refresh the view. (known issue)
jurgenhaasI'm afraid, even then there is no result.
rooey commentedAllright, we have a new version in testing that involved a complete re-write in the way directory listings are generated - as well as new functionality!
I hope to get it out to ya'll in the next few days.
