In certain cases, we only need user to type out variants titles when there are more than one; otherwise, we want the system to auto generate. But, at the moment the option "Auto generate the product title" is generic.

So are you asking for a manual override (#1569450: manual sku)? Calculating variants is something I want to stay far, far away from with this module.
