Quick question: How do I use a Slickgrid view inside a theme file using views_embed_view()?

When I create a Page type of view and provide a static URL value for the location, Slickgrid works. However, doing anything else, it only shows blank space.

Can someone... ANYONE... Shine some light on this? This module is pretty cool, but I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here.
