Shows HTML tags outside [code] and [php]

When i enable this module it works great only problem is that if i use HTML outside [code] or [php] it runs the HTML is there anyway to disable it running outside those tags.

I tried enabling the HTML filter but that removes the slashes from in from of php code such as

echo "<a href=\"\"></a>";
