Select media (button) gives a pop-up screen with several tabs including View Library when using Media 7.x-2.0-unstable3. After update to 7.x-2.0-unstable7 the View Library tab is gone.

The tab was renamed to just 'Library' and the old deprecated 'Library' tab was removed. You may have to double-check your field configuration to check which plugins are enabled to be displayed as well.

Version 7.x-2.0-unstable3 gives me 3 tabs: Upload - Library - View Library. Library shows images, View Library shows images and video (embedded YouTube).

Version 7.x-2.0-unstable7 gives me 2 tabs: Upload - Library. Library shows images, but not the video (embedded YouTube). Isn't that a flaw?

There is definitely something wrong with 7.x-2.0-unstable7. It does not allow me to choose view mode: large, nor view mode: small. If I chose 'large' using 7.x-2.0-unstable3 and, after saving, update to 7.x-2.0-unstable7, the view mode reads: unknown.

Update your media_youtube version to latest dev and youtube videos will start work again.

For the view modes: can you tell me whats the content of your media__show_deprecated_view_modes variable?

Thanks for the help. Problem was caused by tutorial older than the module. Solved.
