discipolo commentedAs Editor of a sound collectives (multiple djs - I know its not the primary target audience ) site I have the ability to enter an album artist and all tracks can inherit that artist.
I also have the option to add tracks from different artists to an album.
When I do so I want the artists to show up next to the tracks.
Ideally that would happen when I don't enter an album artist.
Not sure whether it should be a link.
Here is a screen of how it looks as links.

zirafa commentedI think this is a good idea, note that the mockups use the format "Track title by Artist Name" which reads a bit better, sometimes a - separator can be sorta ambiguous.
While we are at it, we could consider making the tracklist display configurable somehow outside of Views...i.e. create a new custom node view mode for "Tracklist" display. Might not be necessary though as in most cases people probably will not want to display more than a few fields.
