Image not rendered using views

I have a content type slideshow having fields field_image of image type.When I create a view to display the node title and image field. I choose the view style Weight changer . When I set the Format of field_image to image or image linked to node ,etc. it displays nothing. But when I changed the Format of field_image to generic files or path to the file it displays the result. I did not find any solution for this and then I moved to the 6.x-1.0 version of this and it works fine for me.
