Dear reader of this,
I have enabled the content translation module, the locale module is enabled and two languages are active. English and Danish.
I have read that when editing content a new tab 'translation' should appear next to the 'view' and 'edit'. However, it doesn't.

What do I need to do?

Hi, have you switch-on the options about content type?

Go to /admin/structure/types
select the content type and press "edit"
check in TAB "Publishing options" and flag "Enabled, with translation"
Save

Now came back again in "edit" and set the options in TAB "multilingual settings"
Save

I have found that I need to give translation permissions to specific users. I have given myself in my role of administrator the content translation permissions.
But the translation tab still doesn't show

I changed the 'enabled' to 'enabled with translation' and this brought the Translate tab out of its cupboard.
