We need documentation for how to upgrade from d7 to d8 similar to this: http://drupal.org/documentation/upgrade/6/7
However, I did a quick scan through that section and it seemed like much of the content isn't really all that specific to d6/d7 (other than the fact those versions are mentioned in passing)
So before we charge ahead and duplicate all that content into a new section and change "Drupal 6" to "Drupal 7" etc, we should see if we can just rewrite the existing content to make it more generic, perhaps adding an extra page or two for version-specific information. I'm not sure if this is reasonable, but it's always a good idea to avoid forking content wherever practical.

manish_mics commented+1, Lee I agree with you here rather creating bunch of new pages we should create generic guidlines so we can use now for D7to D8, and for future as well.

manish_mics commentedI found one page D7 to D8 upgrade tutorial: Pants module (http://drupal.org/node/1911346) this will help to create detail pages.

leehunter commentedI've edited most of this section to make it version-agnostic.
The page title "Upgrade Process" and its child pages remains to be done.

pcambraThere's a page in the build, I guess the correct placeholder for everything is https://drupal.org/update/modules/7/8

leehunter commentedLooks like there is a fair bit of information now. Marking as fixed.
