Im running the latest version of drupal (7.19) and all I can get the nivo-slider to do is display the first image, it will not transition.

Things I have done:

  • Downloaded / Installed "Libraries Api" Module
  • Downloaded / Installed "Nivo Slider" Module
  • Downloaded / installed latest nivo slider plugin to sites/all/libraries/nivo-slider
  • Once everything was installed I set up the slider via Structure>Nivo Slider
  • Added two images to settings and left everything else with the default settings
  • Placed Nivo Slider block into a region on my theme (tried 3 themes as well)
  • Cleared cache

I did all of the above steps and I get no transition at all, not even an image change. If I hover the image I get the slider next and back buttons but they dont work. checked out flex slider and it worked right away without issue so the second I wake up im gonna implement and flexslider and ditch nivo for this project.

I am having exactly the same problem with Nivo slider. Does anyone know how to get it to work. I am new to Drupal, everthing has gone well up to now. http://strident.co.nz

I have now managed to get it working however I think there is a bug. What you need to do is untick the "Display directional navigation" in /structure/nivo-slider/options Navigation. Found this in another post and it works.

I have installed the same version of drupal and everything as you have more or less...

Only the first slide shows... I´ve also tried different options and disabled "display navigation directional" as dugger said...

Nothing happened :(

Even, since I´m a newbie I´ve installed Views nivo slider, thinking that might be something related with... but well with this you need to create views, content type, image styles and all related stuff

:(

I got Nivo slider to work correctly on my site by going into the jQuery Update module and setting the jQuery Version to 1.8

You got it write brother..... I changed my jQuery version to 1.8 and it started working perfectly well on my site....

I found this link below using D7 is how I finally got it to show, but now need to figure out how to get it to actually slide. When clicking on the next button it doesn't work, nor does it slide automatically.
