Views Slideshow not appearing

Hi friends,

Am using views slide show in drupal 6.26. After creating the slideshow a preview is coming. When i click on save, views is disappearing. I couldn't able to find why its saving. Please help me with the solution.

Also using the zen subtheme.

Hi Dhipak,

Could you be a little more specific as to when the preview is showing? I've had some similar issues myself however it was usually something quite simple like an incorrect plugin (which you may need to directly place in your ftp, but it's not that difficult).

Slideshows can be a bit tricky to get running as there seem to be a lot of different ways to go about it, so if you could be a bit more specific that would be great.

Creating view slideshow adding display as 'block'

Hi,

In views ->
After click on add display -> Block

Under Settings -> select slideshow
field ->select the content: images
Content type -> choose images content type

Click on preview slide show is appearing below. After that i click on save, it showing "Page not found error".

Have you gone into the "manage display" tab and adjusted the properties there? At the Images line there should be a display option you can switch to Slideshow. That would explain why the image isn't displaying properly.

Alternatively you can go into the Configuration -> Status Report and check that all your Jquery files are in the right place. You may simply need a plugin that needs to be put in the right folder (quite simple, it'll actually tell you where to get them and how to do it)
