I'm editing my theme on a fileshare by downloading files onto my PC and re-uploading new files onto the fileshare. When I tried to upload my page.tpl.php file, it morphed into page.tpl.php.txt. I'm fairly sure that it was a PHP file-type before the upload and I included php in the list of accepted file extensions. This strikes me as a bug and is seriously hindering my progress. Any ideas? Thanks.

I believe that's a drupal behavior... not a fileshare specific thing. I'd search in the normal drupal areas for a fix. Good luck!
