Hi,

My problem is this. Menu Block does not show on article detail page.

I have installed and configured Menu Block module to show on the left side of my theme. It works as expected with one exception. Consider I have the following menu structure: Resources \ Articles. There is the resource page (urlpath: /resources) with one child page, "Articles". The "Articles" page (urlpath: /resources/articles) renders a view that shows a list of articles based on tag. Everything works fine until I click on an article to view it's full content. Once on the article page, the menu is gone. Article urlpath is for example "resources/articles/my-test-article". Although the urlpath follows the active menu trail, this still does not help showing the menu.

I tried installing the Menu Trail By Path module but that did not change anything.

I tried configuring the Menu Block module in all ways possible with no luck. I will still post here my current configuration:

Menu: the menu selected by the page
Starting level: second level
Maximum depth: unlimited
Fixed parent item: the menu selected by the page
All other options are unchecked.
Menu is set top show on all pages.
Menu region is set to show on all pages.

Thanks a lot for help.

Menu blocks will only appear on nodes (pages, articles, etc.) that appear within the menu a Menu block is part. Menu items typically aren't added to menus, although some, including you and I, would like menu blocks to appear on articles. I was hoping the path rules I set up would do the same thing, but it's all controlled by the menu.

If you also choose the option Provide Menu Link for the article then it will work
