Chrome doesn't recover.
FireFox can recover but only after I "stop script".
IE works but is very slow.

This occurs on both large and small Features now. I seems to remember this starting shortly after we installed Strongarm.

We have:
jQuery UI 1.8.21
jQuery Update 1.3.2

I'm having the same issue in D6 site with both "Create Feature" and "Recreate". It seems to be related to StrongArm and a large Variable table. See this for more info though there's not really any easy solution there.
