1 image still acting like a slideshow [#1895878]

This is a great module. I just updated from 1.6 to 1.8. When I have a field with only one slide it still fades out (was not doing this before). Is there a way to get it not to fade if there is only one image?

This is strange, it should not do that. Classic question, did you ran update.php or cleared the cache after updating the module?
Can you copy paste the html code? (the content of the div with a class "field-slideshow-wrapper")
Or better, is the website accessible somewhere?
