Looking to purchase a newspaper theme for Drupal 7. Must somewhat customizable and easy to find slots for simple ads blocks (728 by 90 and 300 by 250)

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Most inexpensive themes (theme snap/themeshark) lack ad spaces.

Woudl REALLY love it if it was based on Omega 3.

Willing to pay up to $300 for the right theme.

I think your budget rules out

I think your budget rules out a full custom theme, although some may be prepared to do it.

You might want to enquire how far ThemeGeeks.com are from launch as those themes will be based on Omega.

I would suggest you find a theme you like and then pay the creator/someone to modify it to meet your requirements.

Also, you might want to move this post to the 'Paid Service' forum to get interest from developers looking for such work.

Hope that helps

I agree. But I wish there was

I agree.
But I wish there was sort of a mid-market theme. We see lots of companies selling for $50. But I know lots of people who'd pay considerably more for a more flexible and better theme.
$300 to $500.
But I don't see any market out there like that.
It's either $59.99 or pay some company $2,000 to $10,000 to develop it.

Yes, indeed, it seems an all

Yes, indeed, it seems an all or nothing kind of deal sometimes with theming.

In the past I have seen some authors on ThemeForest.net modifying their themes to meet the needs of individual customers for an extra payment. Not sure if any of the Drupal themes are suitable for your case, but might be worth a look.

Best of luck with the hunt
