jazzitup commentedCurrently one of my BOTCHA status reports claims: Already 138 blocked form submissions (69.347% of total 199 processed)
I would recommend this module to everyone as a primary (and the only) spam prevention solution. Not only the module is very successful in a real-world environment, but the project itself seems very vibrant and dynamic thanks to its maintainer and his ability to rapidly resolve issues. The Drupal community needs more projects (active members) like this one.

Raphael Dürst commentedI am using this module currently too and I've only had success so far.
One website had always new users from a spambot, because the registration is open (this is necessary for this specific usecase).
Since I installed BOTCHA there are no new users from spambots, only real ones.
I had some false positives at first and I had to disable the NoResubmit and ObscureUrl recipes, but after that everything worked perfectly.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, there are really a lot of attempts from bots, but everyone failed.

marcus178 commentedI only installed this last night and it's working great. We were getting an account created at least once every 5 minutes and now they have all been blocked, just need to clean up all the accounts that have already been created.

SMRussell commentedMany thanks for this great module. I was getting swamped with dozens of spam membership applications per day. I switched on Botcha, and the torrent stopped.
I've set up a regular donation to the author, to support his future efforts. If you like this module as much as I do, I encourage you to contribute too.

sjhuskey commentedI was frustrated with the number of accounts being registered by spambots. I had set up a view that allowed me to delete them with a bulk operation, but that was a waste of time. In an average week, I'd end up with over 500 accounts to delete. After I installed Botcha? None. Botcha is possibly the best thing that I have encountered in developing Drupal sites!

wiredescape commentedTwo thumbs up. I have used Botcha in combination with Bad Behavior module and they have solved 99.9% of form submission spam issues. Allowed me to stop using Captcha (everyone complained about having to deal with captcha). Used on about 50 sites over the last two years. Much appreciated!
