taxonomy terms transalation

HI guys,
Currently I am trying to use i18n module to translate my site. I have found that in order to translate a certain vocabulary I need to create another vocabulary with equivalent terms in another language. Now suppose if I am running my site in english and add a certain content type suppose page to a certain taxonomy term suppose 'review' and then switch to another language then I won't see the taxonomy term 'review'.
Now if I add another page in this new language and choose the taxonomy term in this another language then it will totally belong to a new vocabulary. Isn't it so??

Then I would have unnecessarily two vocabularies and instead of two content types belonging to a single term I would have one content type each belonging to each taxonomy term.
Guide me if I am wrong. I don't want this. I want to show two content types for a single term.
Any suggestions??
