Description

It would be great if I could do a one-way sync from my Amazon wishlist to my drupal wishlist. This way I could keep up the Amazon on, but add items not on Amazon into the drupal one and then point everyone to the drupal one. It would then link to Amazon if it was on the Amazon Wishlist.

Anyway, thanks for the great module. I'm finding it really useful.

Do you know whether Amazon supports any APIs to perform a sync like this?

Here's a search for wishlist at AmazonWebServices.com:

It appears that is is possible. In fact, instead of doing syncs you may be able to use it as your database and not have a database on the host. I'm not sure of that though.

Here's a project doing something similar:

Ok, those are all good leads. What I am primarily missing is time (or a really well written patch...). I'd use something that managed withlist nodes that were synced copies of Amazon items myself, but it is a fairly large task, and my development playtime is short as I've got very young children. I barely pulled off the time to get the D6 port completed, and ran out of time to really test it to my satisfaction without adding new features. :(

So, I love the idea. I won't be quick in making it happen. I will take the time in the near-term to review a solid patch though.

Sounds good. I have a young kid myself.
