Hi.

I am trying to correct this:

if using the metatag.module have you confihgured it at admin/config/search/metatags

no, but you can surely edit the current settings, by clicking on the override link and adjust as needed.

just to be clear you are using: http://drupal.org/project/metatag ?

do you recommend metatag-7.x-1.0-beta4 instead?

How do I uninstall modules? When I go to modules, uninstal, there are only a few ones... the rest is in the list of modules.

if a module is disabled and no uninstall routine is provided there is either nothing to remove from the database or the developer did not provide a method to remove data from the database.

Note that the uninstall routine never removed files from the install. They must be removed manually.

I removed the module. and installed the one you referred to.

I get a load of errors (yet I configured it). I donot understand what these mean:
