Re-word description of update checkbox in installer

Draft changes to the description on Update notifications installer checkbox attached.

Looks good to me, reads much more clearly. I remember this being the source of much pain before, so could do with a third pair of eyes on it.

Keith: Thanks for doing this! Your rewrite is a big improvement. I tweaked it slightly; new patch attached.

Can we convey the same information in a significantly shorter paragraph. The one in the installer is already pretty long, but this adds a lot more stuff again. Also, we use one space between sentences when multiple sentences follow each other.

I cut about five words out, can't see much more that can be cropped without removing necessary information though.
