there are some bug reports - any development anymore?

In #272988: status of module (and offer to co-maintain) I've asked the same question with the option of taking over the module. So, I'll mark this "closed" as either a duplicate of that or with that as the answer.
Answer being - if not under development when this issue was submitted, it is now :)
