Has anyone tried this and if so, what is the best way to go about it without messing up the user accounts?

laughoften commentedI would like to know the answer to this myself. I just uninstalled the module from Drupal and deleted the smf module file and now the only one who can get into either site is me the Admin.
What needs to be done to get my members access to log back in?? I don't want the smf module back as it has too many problems. Just need to get member access back.
When the member tries to log in it just redirects back to the log in page. then they get this message: Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again. It has them logged in but they can't do anything
