Tracker documentation does not explain the red asterisk

The documentation in
http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/tracker
doesn't explain the red asterisk that appears beside new content.

I suggest the following revision to the documentation (emphasis added to indicate suggested new content):
"Updates include any changes to the text, either by the original author or someone else, as well as any new comments added to an item. A red asterisk (*) will display beside the name of each node the current user has not yet navigated to. To use the tracker module to watch for a user's updated content, click on that user's profile, then the track tab."
