I open a new thread since the existing one is for 6.x.
reCAPTCHA has stopped working, no message is given. recaptcha.js is not being loaded and instead of reCAPTCHA the default math test is used, even in the example pages.
I noticed the issue when I moved my website to a production server. I'm not sure if that triggered the malfunction, since I haven't been using it for a while. Anyway, I tried to uninstall both it and the CAPTCHA module, with no luck. I'm sure the keys are right; I also tried to regenerate them and global keys don't work either.

Any suggestion is welcome, I don't know where else to look or how to further debug.

Are you sure the forms are configured to use reCAPTCHA? reCAPTCHA itself needs to be configured with keys and the forms have to be configured to use reCAPTCHA. It sounds like it is using Math because that is the default.
