I think it would be very useful to have workflow-ng support for privatemsg.

Already a simple "send a private message" action would enable users to send out customized messages on every available event! If you like you could even save some code by implementing the "Welcome message for new users" as workflow-ng configuration.

If you are worried about 6.x, don't worry workflow-ng will be ported.

Would do you think? Are you open for a first patch, that adds a conditionally included workflow-ng integration (send msg action)?

That would be handy, for things like on-site comment notifications.
