I totally agree. This is on my wishlist for the module. It seems like it would be really pretty easy to implement but I just haven't gotten around to it.

Second that! Was just about to comment on another issue:

Choosing the order was present in (at least) one of the patches for "Disable Upload" issue (fixed for 7.18 release) - might or might not be helpful to start with. Definitely wish it had stuck around until the release

Edit: actually this is for selecting ONE source to be active by default, no full sorting of the whole sources list - still useful though
