Originally built on SiteFinity CMS, a migration to drupal was decided because we needed a flexible and stable CMS as well as a framework to build our Solar Savings Estimator web application, which is written in PHP and javaScript
the Primary requirment was ease of use, the previous SiteFinity site was not friendly to update content or change the look and feel. this goal was met through the use of CCK and seperating content types and allowing contributers to only create content of the type that they needed.
