How reuse file as a picture?

Hey,

I have an image field and I have to upload the file always again even tho I have the file already on the server. How can I reuse a file as a picture which I already uploaded? This option has to be available for this specific image field, no new fields should be created.

Anyone familiar with this kind of feature?

You can use media module,

You can use media module, which allows you to choose from existing uploaded, upload new or put the URL of remote location.
