How to enable GTSpam

I don't seem to be able to get GTSpam to work for me. I installed the module and enabled it. I don't see anything else to configure. Email addresses (including new ones) are still robot readable. Is there something I'm missing? I haven't been able to find any documentation or clues.

OK, so I get to answer my own question: There is a readme in the module folder (duh) with some additional instructions and a clue that GTSpam is an "input format" and managed there. After that I changed the order that input formats are processed so that GTSpam is processed prior to URLs, and it is working beautifully. A very transparent solution that should help us stem the tide on the volume of spam we get (currently approaching 40,000/day).
