I was reading through some handbook pages today, and noticed that I now have the 'Edit' link for most (but not all) of the pages. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there last week. I noticed this after I fixed a typo on one of the pages :-) (I'm used to correcting things when I see an edit link since I read Wikipedia a lot.) Is it supposed to be like this, or did someone hit the wrong switch on a permission setting?

Since I'm here, and wouldn't mind helping out with the documentation, I'd like to apply to join the Documentation team. My name is Andrew Maiman (user id 90037), and I first encountered Drupal a year ago when we used it in a collaborative course project in one of my master's classes for Information Systems at NJIT.

My current project is to migrate a web site that I created a few years ago on the PHP-Nuke platform to Drupal to take advantage of everything Drupal has to offer. (I'm sick of the spam and security problems with PHP-Nuke, and am very happy with what I've seen of Drupal and its community of developers) I'm planning to do a few more things than the existing Nuke -> Drupal conversion scripts allow for, so hopefully I'll be able to write up some additional documentation on the conversion process after I figure it out.

Someone at some point must've added you to the docs team, since that role is checked for you. Sometimes one of us will sneakily add you if we hear you saying anything that sounds remotely like you'd want to help out on documentation, so that's probably what happened. ;)

Anyway, welcome (formally) to the team! :) Conversion help is always something we could use some more helping hands with!
