Hi,

I edited the Garland theme to match my design, it looked perfect. Whilst I was editing it locally, I noticed my CSS changes had been saving in a strange place - sites/default/files/color/garland-42c0dc86/style.css. It was this file that my theme was recognising, not the standard themes/garland/style.css. I continued to theme my site knowing this, thinking it wouldn't be an issue when making it live.

Once I uploaded all my files to the live server, my theme was dead. It wasn't recognising any style sheets. I moved the theme files around, adding the themed style sheet to the themes/garland/style.css - but still it isn't showing up.

I started thinking to myself, is the Garland theme even meant to be edited?

Can anybody help with this strange problem? Hopefully its something really obvious.

Thanks

Solved

This has been solved. There was another .htacess file under sites/files. I deactivated it and that solved the problem. Other mention some permission issues with the theme folder - I changed these before editing the .htaccess file so I'm not sure if that effected the outcome.
