Front page not showing login and password boxes to login. Pls Help

Hi, your screen capture is not the home page, it's the user login page so of course the sidebar will not show as that should contain the login box itself i.e.

/?q=user

I just launched a blank sandbox on simplytest.me and it works as expected.

A default drupal install for me yields the user login form on the homepage. You should check drupal documentation and your specific installation, I cannot reproduce this so you must have some other issue at hand.
