Need to fix broken drupal tables caused by updating views.

Hi all. at some point in the past I upgraded views on my production D6 with hundreds of views. but after reverting back, I have been unable to make many edits on a view without it cause the view to be emptied on save. I could not take everything apart as the system is used for our fire operations and needed to stay running So as a work around and precautionary measure, I began the arduous task of exporting each and every view to code. Now that I finally have all my views in code (as a back up ) is there any way I can fix my database so I can go back to being able to use views UI to edit my views?
