I have begun the project localization modules on slavic languages (http://www.drupaler.ru/translate/). Now about 120 modules. I have collided with very inconvenient navigation...
If modules will be > 500. The localization_server will be on 78 or 94 page? I need to guess?

It is possible to change navigation a little? I think on a picture clearly.

20/30 projects per page works as well, but your feature is pretty cool :)

Well, how does a dropdown help with 500 projects? Some browsers hang when they encounter such a dropdown.

I do not see the problem:)
For example: http://drupal.org/project/issues/l10n_server (all modules from the site drupal.org)

How often do you use this dropdown? I use it daily, and i find it very hard to pick the module I'd like. Especially when I only know fragments like 'taxonomy something' or 'something taxonomy'.

Some easy navigation is however needed. It's necessary that a use can navigate easily through projects. I think drop-down is the "less-bad" choice. I think click one-hundred times to find the projects i'm searching for is too bad.

OK, we are here to do a better interface not to exchange one bad solution with another. Or add two bad solutions. A nice autocomplete field might be much more friendlier. (Like the freetagging autocomplete or user name autocomplete on post submission).

It's definitely better this solution. ajax power :)

Just committed an autocomplete jumper textfield, which should be fine for this case IMHO. Tested in Firefox and Safari. Feel free to reopen the issue if you think we can do better there.
