some issues relating to building a forum

Hi, I'm new to Drupal. Building a site that fundamentally is a forum.
Having worked with Vbulletin in the past, I noticed Drupal is a far more straightforward platform, yet with less features.

I have a few questions.

1. Please point me to any sites you know of that use Drupal Forums, which will help me get a better idea on
what I can do as far customization, adding different features etc. I've seen similar requests on this support forum from many years ago, but most of the sites
listed are no longer hosted.

2. On my site, users will register and fill out a profile and publish new posts under their username.
However, some users will be sensitive in regard to saying something
controversial on my forum under their own name, profile or handle. I want to give them the option of checking a box and posting anonymously
without them having to log out. Is there a way to do this?

3. Is there a way to add a feature where users can "Like" each others posts, similar to the system on Facebook?
Even better if posts under a heading can be ranked according to the number of likes.

4. When develolping the terms and conditions for my forum, it's tempting to just cut and paste from other established forums.
My concern with that is copyright issues. Can anyone direct me to some fair use templates specifically for Forum Posting Rules along with legal terms and
conditions.
