We're gonna revamp the slider soon and use bxslider4 instead, this should be fixed in a few days.

The issue isn't just about the slideshow, the RTL support has been broken and the regression has been introduced in the 2.1 version of Kickstart, we're going to tag a new release of Kickstart soon, in the meantime you could switch to the latest patch of omega_kickstart http://drupal.org/node/1814350#comment-7057294
