I want to set up a test Drupal with a few modules install for troubleshooting. After I've messed up the database and the module code with my testing, I want to easily reset the whole thing to a clean state and start the tests over.
Sure, I could do that with database exports/imports and file backups, but is there a quicker, cleaner, Drupal way?

Use the demonstration site
Use the demonstration site module http://drupal.org/project/demo
use drush plus drush make
use drush plus drush make file
further step is to utilize features + strongarm to record any configuration that you think must be there during a new reinstallation process.

if you can use drupal why use others?
