Installing Drupal CMS system enquiry

Hi there,

I have registered my new domain mattcreations.com and created my web page with Drupal CMS system.
Even though the system is installed successfully, there are lots of bugs and errors internally, which I don't know how to fix.
So I would say the system is not installed correctly and perfectly.

Actually I would like to create an back end CMS system like my wordpress account http://www.multimediadesignandcreations.com/wp-admin
I remember I registered a free account wordpress.com first and then started to download and install a wordpress account in wordpress.org.
I registered my domain name multimediadesignandcreations in Crazy Domain company in Australia.

It should have a correct installation process. I wish to setup the back end CMS system in Drupal, like http://www.mattcreations.com/wp-admin

It would be much appreciated if you can teach me how to setup in a correct way.

Like most things about Drupal you can find the answers from the Documentation tab on this site. Go here http://drupal.org/documentation/install and keep reading through the options.

Learning Drupal is a lot of work. If you want your site to look like Wordpress it may be better to use Wordpress. However, if you have the interest to spend a lot of time learning about Drupal, it is a lot of fun.

I am now reading "Getting started with Drupal 7 administration" from http://drupal.org/getting-started/7/admin

Actually I have created my page with Drupal 7, but it is not perfectly installed I would say.
There are lots of bugs and errors in the homepage which I am not how to install. Thinking that I may install it in an incorrect way.

Thinking that I want to reinstall the whole program and create a brand new one similar as www.mattcreations.com

What is the best way to install it without any errors like http://multimediadesignandcreations.com/wp-admin? It should have a easy and correct way to install.

First off read the minimum requirements for installing Drupal. If you are installing Drupal on your laptop or on a decent Drupal specialist host you should have no problems. If you are trying to get the site running on a very cheap host your are more or less guaranteed problems with every installation method.

Once you have the right server environment, any of the installation methods suggested in the documentation should work. However, the automated one-click installers provided by many hosting companies often do not work and are not recommended in the documentation here.

If you are trying to get the site running on a very cheap host your are more or less guaranteed problems with every installation method.

You linked a page with three cheap hosting services.

Often people do not really believe this until they try for themselves. If you prefer to pay a bit more for a service suitable for Drupal 7 check out the likes of hotdrupal.com, drupion,com, civihosting.com.

If you think it is worth a gamble, give the cheap ones a try: you can always move up and start to pay more when you find the hours wasted on problems and slow speed of the site are costing more in terms of your time than the savings can justify. I have been down this path myself over the years. But you may be lucker.

It may be that Drupal 8 will be more forgiving of cheap hosting than Drupal 7.

I visited it a second time. I have seen dozens of these sites who make money by hoping you will click through to the hosting service they recommend using affiliate links and buy it, at which point the site owner gets a cut. In addition they are recommending a company who is buying advertising from them.

That, and the comments give away the fact that that recommendations cannot be trusted.

The page you linked to is itself a Drupal site but it is not hosted on any of these services which it claims to recommend. Go figure.

Drupal has no formal

Drupal has no formal distinction between front end and back end. It is possible to use Drupal's built-in theming and permissions options in a way which shows a very different interface and set of tools and options depending on which user Role you log in with. A backend Role could be created, and assigned a set of permissions and theming options which you feel appropriate for 'backend' , while a logged-in Authenticated user could be shown a different interface. The first step in making Drupal look as if it it has a different back end and front end (even though it is not structure that way under the hood) is to learn and start using the Drupal permissions system in detail.
