update.php on D7.19 stalls at cybersource HOP.php not found

Can anyone help?

When running update.php to complete a D7.19 (minor) update it stalls at the first screen with a "Requirements Problem" - CyberSource HOP.php Not Found. This is an inherited website, previous update history unknown.

The site's Ubercart does NOT use the cybersource checkout options, only "PayPal Website Payments Standard" and "Alipay" are enabled as Payment Methods.

The client does not have a cybersource account.

How do I clear this wretched dependency to enable update.php to complete?

Look for the cybersource

Look for the cybersource module and if you find it disable it. Don't just delete it until you know where you are going with the problem, just disable it.
