Currently the implementation of views in Link only works with Views 2.x, which doesn't exist anymore for Drupal 7. It should be upgraded to work with Views 3.x.

Due to inactivity for 12 years and upcoming EOL of Drupal 7 in January 2025 I think an issue for such a big task is outdated after 12 years inactivity? Feel free to re-open if I am mistaken.
