Funding ran out.
You can easily get the code from CVS - do you want instructions?

That's a pity. If the code is worthwhile at all, a release that puts it on the map when people filter for Drupal 5 compatible modules, makes it fetchable by drush, and work with the update status module may be a good idea anyway. Maybe a developer will come of it.

Semantic search does enable the sort of live filtering shown on the one live demo at ILCAnet? I had trouble following the description.

Don't need instructions assuming these will do:

Checking Out from the Contributions Repository
http://drupal.org/node/321

If no release, you may want to link to that from the project description.

Hendler, I have a question for you. Could you help me out via my email?

when I checkout via CVS and intended to test what you did through Semantic Search module. According to what you said in README.txt(located in semantic_search\docs\README.txt), I couldn't find the files semantic_search.conf.inc.sample and settings.php.sample.

My email address is: ecaichen@hotmail.com

Really appreciate if you response..

The reason why I doubt it lacks some files is that i get a fatal error say:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function user_access() in C:\xampp\htdocs\drupal\modules\semantic_search\semantic_search.module on line 49:

the user_access() issue is from the module not being in a sites/modules/ path and/or missing files.
That sub issue should be fixed when the code is released.

It's a pitty the project got lost.
Anybody trying to make a new release based on the same concept?

Best Regards,
Jorge Nunes.
