Im Trying to change the front using frontpage module. Unfortunately it makes no effect. Documentation in the readme file is very poor. I've cleared the cache and nothing happens . I also set the change to affect the view for not logged user and for admin too , and still nothing happens... Not sure If I have to put an alias there, but when I do I cannot see the change saved.

Best to ask the question under the module (projects) page in the queries. But before you do that, make sure you search and read the queries there. You will then also have to fill in the relevant details:
As you need to give more details about installation - which Drupal version you are on, which Front page version, etc.
What do you want to achieve?
Which link to the front page you are using?

Did you goggle for a tutorial for the module?
