I have 18 components on a webform, 2 of which are not required. The mandatory checkbox is unchecked for these fields. However, when I try to submit the form as the user, I cannot because it says the fields are required. One of these fields is a Comments field.

The only work around that I have found is to set the comments field default to "(Not required)." However, this is not ideal. Any ideas?

I have tested the webpage in IE, Chrome, and Firefox and have the same problem in all 3.

Webform 2.x is no longer supported (assuming you marked the correct version here).

If you're using a more recent version of Webform, please mark the version field to your current version. A screenshot would also be helpful if you reopen the issue, as I don't understand what's being asked here.
