Description

In economy goDaddy Linux hosting when I perform a backup I get the usual feedback:

    * Database backed up successfully.
    * Files backed up successfully.
    * Click this filename to download: drupal-backup-20071110232242-981313108.tar.gz

The resulting backup file contains all the files, and an sql.gz of the database backup. Only it's 20 bytes long (empty) - see attached.

Switching ON "Capture errors from backup run?" produces no extra info.

I can see how cheap and restrictive shared hosting would mess things up, but when the database backup fails, there MUST be a clear error message ( a zero-length .sql file could be a hint if other error detection mechanisms fail).

This may cause someone a lot of trouble!

On an unrelated note: this module has one of the best UIs, clearly built with end-user in mind. I just hope that when I am brave enough to write a module, i can replicate the experience...
