Views - attachment counts

Have been trying to add a simple " X attachments" link within a views page.

the view lists the nodes in a blog like fashion and within it I want the amount of attachments linked to the node. I.E. 3 Attachments...

I was hoping the custom field php code mod would work. If so do you have any suggustions on what php code to write?
